Entry: She is finally here! Saturday, October 27, 2007



Deirdre of Ulster is finally here!  Boy, we had a heck of a time getting her.  We pre-ordered her at TRU and waited patiently for her to ship.  In late August we received a cancellation notice!  Well, we were able to find someone who had ordered her who did not want her but then TRU contacted us and re-instated our order.  After waiting patiently, TRU cancelled our order again.  So, we had to go off to Ebay.  We are so glad to get a doll with great face paint.  She will be staying in her box so here are some photographs of this stunning beauty as is.

Not just a pretty face. The fashion design team and the package designer have gone through painful steps in research and execution to make sure all patterns used are authentic and work harmoniously with the doll's skin tone, face paint and hair color. This closed-box package is the most expensive ever, it includes five color printing, foil stamping and a special process to create the velvety texture. Even the window has a special ridge.
